The company began as Guang Ming Glass Instrument Co. in 1970, initially producing glass hydrometers and thermometers while operating “Shin Kong Instruments” as an instrument retail channel. It was reorganized as Chiao Hsin Co., Ltd. in 1990 and established a production site in China. In 2011, the product range expanded to include kitchen and tabletop glassware.

These developments have built practical experience across glass products and supply work. Today, NRG Glass keeps laboratory glassware at the center of its business while providing manufacturing and sourcing services that help customers identify products suited to their applications and specifications.
